Picasso´s Route in Málaga

Picasso was born in Malaga in 1.881, and with this route we want that you discover the familiar and artistic environment that it will allow you to understand the development of his work and his personality.

We begin with Fundación Picasso Museo Casa Natal Picasso (Foundation Museum Natal House). Placed in the Plaza of the Mercy, 15 http: // www.fundacionpicasso.es. The house where was born the artist, library and center of documentation and exhibitions. The collection understands more than 3.500 works of contemporary art, and his exhibitions are related to the of Malaga artist.

La Iglesia de Santiago (Santiago´s Church), of the period the XVth - the XVIIIth placed in the street Granada, where Picasso was baptized. This church was constructed on a former mosque; his foundation dates back to 1.490. It is the most ancient Church of Malaga. His interior is a Mudejar Gothic.
