The way of going to Córdoba is similar to others cities we talked about; by car less than two hours. Highway A-45, buses from Malaga and the train, AVE.
Córdoba, magic city, emblem of civilizations that have populated the south of Spain, is to the shore of the Guadalquivir, mother of big philosophers, as Seneca and one of the cities with major tourism of Spain.
What do we propose you in one day? The Mosque - cathedral; one of the most important monuments of West Islamic art . In his style they are Gothic, Renaissance and baroque. It started being constructed in the 8th century and evolved up to the 18th century. The Jewish quarter, in the historical neighborhood, declared heritage of the Humanity for the UNESCO, close to the mosque, narrow, paved streets, where he reigns the silence and the light, is an ancient neighborhood of the city, own to walk and to enjoy the art and popular architecture. The Roman bridge, of the 1st century A.C., one shapes of better conference of the city, especially to the late afternoon. The famous courtyard of Cordoba, abundances of color, flowers and happiness. The Roman temple dedicated to the imperial worship, close to the town hall, formed a part of the forum together with the circus.

No doubt, we are speaking about the Malaga´s Fair 2010.
As every year, the Fair is celebrated in August for 10 days. In that occasion, from August 13 to August 22. It will begin with the opening address and the pyrotechnic spectacle at 00 a.m. of Friday, the 13th in the Malagueta´s beach. Later, in the same place, Miguel Bosé will give a musical concert.
So, Malaga Fair will be inaugurated. It is one of the most peculiar fairs of Andalucia. In the morning in the historical center of the city people is eating and dancing in the street, with music, dressed in folklore and dancing "sevillanas". You will see musical spectacle in the historic town. Obligatory sites: Larios street, where you can findthe front page of the Fair, Plaza of the constitution and Granada street, where people is dancing, drinking a few good sweet nice and cool wines, as the typical Cartojal, eating “tapas” of ham and cheese in a few barrels in the street.
At night the activity moves to the Fairground, where you can come using the bus, although this zone is opened the whole day. It is divided in zone of attractions for the children, the zone of the youth and the most traditional. This zone is full of sheds which access is free, where it is possible to eat, drink and dance. In addition, in the Flamenco's Municipal Shed, every day there are Flamenco's spectacle.

Our second trip of one day of duration that MalagaLodge propose to you is Sevilla.
How to go?; from the bus station, the train or simply with the car; highway A-92. Sevilla is close to Malaga; about two hours from MalagaLodge.
City crosses of cultures, magical, with a lot of offers that make you see and feel, with a lot of art in his monuments, customs, people.
The Royal Fortresses (Reales Alcázares), which it is a palace of dream, where styles as the Islamic art, the Spanish Muslim and the Gothic stand out together with Renaissance and baroquly. It has been used as place of housing of the Spanish Royal Household. The Cathedral, close to the Royal Fortresses with his famous belfry, the Giralda. It is the biggest Gothic Christian cathedral of the world. Later we can give a walk along the Neighborhood of Santa Cruz, one of the most important and popular neighborhoods of the city: it is a labyrinth of streets and alleys, as the old Jewries, flood of you crunch and terraces. We cannot forget the river The Guadalquivir, his importance for the city. The Tower of the Gold (Torre del Oro), in one of his margins, one of the icons of the city constructed in the 13th century, and from where we will be able to observe the bullring (La Maestranza) and another typical Sevillian neighborhood, Triana's Neighborhood. We start by proposing several excursions of one day of duration from our stay in MalagaLodge.
Our first destination is Granada.
With our own vehicle, highway A-92, or taking the buses from Malaga, Granada is close to Malaga; about one hour and a half from MalagaLodge. This city has one of the major cultural heritages in Spain.
Opened city, full of university students and a lot of turists. Besides throughout the world known Alhambra and the Albaicin, former Arabic neighborhood, designated heritage of the humanity for the UNESCO, we can recommend to visit the Cathedral and to the Royal Chapel, beside living through the Bohemian and Arabic atmosphere that you can see and breath in the city.
The historical center is very small so you can make a visit of one day where you will be able to see the most typical of the city, especially Alhambra, Cathedral and the Albaicin.
